Boost your homebrew quality by pitching a large volume of healthy, actively fermenting yeast. This easy technique significantly shortens the “lag phase” — the period between pitching and visible fermentation — helping prevent DMS and other unwanted off-flavors.

Prepare sterile wort directly in our heat-resistant 500 ml Pyrex flask. After it cools, add your yeast and seal the flask with a stopper and airlock. Within 1 to 3 days, a frothy, active starter will form.

When ready, pour the entire yeast starter into your main fermenter. Active fermentation typically begins within 12 hours.
