Other traditions examined include the law of the captive woman, concubinage, and polygyny, all recorded in scripture and practiced in these regions. The book also presents evidence challenging Western narratives, explaining how slavery in sub-Saharan Africa aligned with scripture and differed from the brutal slavery practiced by the West.
